UK Base Containers was built from years of hands-on experience within the construction and fit-out industry. Based in Arundel, West Sussex, we are a small independent business with over 22 years of experience working across commercial building, hospitality, and bespoke interior projects throughout the UK.

Over the years, we’ve worked on a wide variety of projects including food halls, cafés, gyms, bars, hospitality venues, and commercial fit-outs. Through this experience, we developed a passion for creating unique spaces that combine practical construction with modern design — which naturally led us into the world of shipping container conversions.

As a business, we take pride in keeping things personal. We understand that every project is different, and we enjoy working closely with clients to turn ideas into something real. Whether it starts as a rough sketch, a Pinterest image, or simply a conversation, we love being part of the process from the very beginning.

Being in the industry for over two decades has also allowed us to build strong relationships with trusted trades, suppliers, fabricators, architects, and specialists. These connections help us deliver high-quality projects while keeping the process straightforward and reliable for our clients.

What started as an interest in bespoke container spaces has grown into a business creating everything from garden rooms and offices to cafés, gyms, bars, and fully custom-built hospitality units.
